Igor Emri was the SEM President Gene Maddux gave the Murray Lecture.

IMAC XIX was held at the Hyatt Orlando, Kissimmee, Florida, February 5 - 8, the theme was "Future Directions in Structural Dynamics" David Martinez was the keynote speaker on Structural Dynamics - The Next Frontier 2001 SEM Annual Conference was held at the Portland Marriott Downtown in Portland, OR, June 4 - 6. Jon Rogers was SEM President Cesar A. Sciammarella presented the Murray Lecture.
